Arnold & team did a great job to tell my story as an operator, now founder. Particularly impressed with their web 3 domain knowledge to highlight the uniqueness of what I am building.

They were easy, efficient, and extremely pleasant to work with; highly knowledgeable, gave their utmost attention, would only work with cases of merit, were reactive to all my queries, and have continued showing exemplary customer care after the case.

Beyond Border understood tech profile really well. Having gone through the process, I see the importance of having a team that understands my niche and turn them into layman terms for officer's understanding. Arnold & team delivered. Could not recommend enough.

Im a cybersecurity professional working in pen testing for major financial systems. The Beyond Border team and my attorney are always there whenever I need a quick response. US immigration is still really tough but the team made it easier. Would do

I spoke to a few traditional law firms who wouldnt take my case because I havent raised venture funding. Arnold & team saw potential in my holistic profile, and delivered on the O-1A outcome. Grateful.

3 hours turnaround on a detail prepped sheet before my consultation with the attorney won me over. Arnold & team changed my perception on immigration attorneys. Glad to be working with the team on my EB-2 NIW. Onward.
Dirk
Mechanical Engineer
I didnt know anything about the quicker O-1B option before. But Beyond Border was very patient with explaining this option to me. I knew you understood the creative world, and that shows in my final petition. Getting the O-1B has been life changing to me.
Gabriela
Emerging Music Producer
It's been difficult to find someone who can translate my internal work (bulk of my career) into EB-1A evidence. I think the fact that Beyond Border's team had ex-tech operators in the team helped to articulate the quantifiable impact really well. Game changer to my EB-1A approval.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I qualify for EB-2 NIW with only a bachelor's degree?

Yes, if you also hold at least five years of progressive, post-degree experience in the same field as your proposed endeavor. That combination is equivalent to a master's degree in this category.

Do I need publications or patents?

You do not. Publications and patents strengthen the national importance argument when you hold them, and their absence does not disqualify you. Project outcomes, employer documentation, independent expert letters, and industry data carry the case instead.

Can I really self-petition without any job offer?

You can self-petition. The waiver removes the job offer and the labor certification for petitioners who meet the three-prong test. You still submit the employee-specific pages of Form ETA 750 or Form ETA 9089 inside your own package, without Department of Labor approval attached.

What does an EB-2 NIW petition cost?

Form I-140 costs US$1,015 for a self-petitioner as of August 2026. Premium processing adds US$2,965. A later Form I-485 adds US$1,440 on paper or US$1,390 online if you file from inside the United States.

How does my country of birth change the timeline?

It changes the timeline significantly. As of the August 2026 Visa Bulletin, EB-2 is current for every country except China, with a final action date of September 1, 2021, and India, which is unavailable this month.
